About This Program

As stated in the approved study plan, this course is designed to follow up German for Specialization I. The four skills (reading, listening, writing, and speaking) are systematically trained and improved. This course provides students with further basic rules of German grammar and a variety of German vocabulary. It also aims to strengthen and enhance the language skills students have learned in both oral and written German. Additionally, this course offers an intercultural modern method of learning and the opportunity for students to learn independently via blended learning. A- Aims (PLOs):1. Develop German language skills and engage effectively in a wide range of communicative tasks in academic and non-academic contexts.2. Describe living circumstances and compare them to those in German-speaking countries, developing combined nouns and prepositions.3. Introduce labor possibilities and work environments compared to Jordan using separable verbs.4. Shop for food, order in a restaurant, and express likes or dislikes using question words.5. Talk about leisure activities, write a simple postcard, make appointments, and discuss fashion using adjectives.6. Compare cultural events in German-speaking countries and Jordan using comparative structures.7. Discuss holidays, vacations, etc., using modal verbs, prepositions, and personal pronouns.8. Use information and communication technology to access databases and information, develop knowledge and skills, and apply them to generate new knowledge in the German language. B- Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs):Upon successful completion of this course, students will achieve the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs).
