This study deals with the topic of "The Rules of autistic patients in Islamic Jurisprudence: Authentic Study". Autism is widely spread in the world in general and in the Islamic and Arabic world specifically. Thus, the study aims at defining autism linguistically، showing its causes، how to examine and treat its patients and its effect on the behavior of the patients. The study concludes that there are two rules for autism: Firstly, any person who is strongly affected by this disease and could not distinguish between things or perceive them، the rules of a mentally retarded person are applied in his case، indicating that he is not punishable for his misconduct behaviour. Secondly, if a person is slightly affected by autism and can distinguish and perceive things the rule of a minor boy who distinguishes between things applies in his case. Autism will not negate the humanity and the rights of autistic patients.
