During the period 1989-2016, eight parliament were elected in Jordan based on several laws of election. The participation of women in the parliament itself has increased especially after 2010. The application of new election laws that depend on proportional representation helped in increasing the proportion of women in the parliament. This study investigated the influence of the these new laws on creating such development, especially that some studies found that the application of these laws lead to increasing women participation as parliament members.
