This study is concentrating on one of Abu Mansour Al-Matridi ideas concerning the ability to know God using reason. Al-maturidi is one of the important sunni theologians and Jurists (fagih) who was one the Islamic scholar who introduces eulim -alKalam to sunni sect tradition. He presented a logical way to be able to know God by reason alongside presenting a theologian proof which is in line with the Islamic perspective. The study aimed at analyzing and explaining Almaturidi theory of knowledge in relation to reason and revelations, as presented in his argument of the possibility to know God by reason. It also aimed at exploring Al-maturidi general method in acquiring knowledge, and in the ability to rationally know God in particular. The study concluded that Al-maturidi Rational method is essential for his Perception of the theory of knowledge. Nonetheless, he retained a special position of the Holly Quran within his theory, as the reference point of any scientific result. Reason and revelations are the two major resources of all believes and knowledge. The sources of Knowledge, for Al-maturidi, are senses, scripts and meditation, which will be analyzed in accordance with rationality and the revelations, in order to arrive to his perception on the existence of God, other religions, the universe, and human.
