Overview

Dirasat: Human and Social Sciences is an open access, peer-reviewed and refereed journal published by The University of Jordan. The main objective of the journal is to provide an intellectual platform for all scholars from Jordanian and international universities. Dirast: Human and Social Sciences journal articles are indexed in SCOPUS, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature. The journal is developing to become one of the leading journals for humanities and social sciences in the region.

Aims and Scope

Dirasat Humans and Social Sciences journal aims to promote interdisciplinary research in humanities and social sciences. The journal publishes original research papers on current topics in the fields of humanities and social science such as psychology, philosophy, history, geography, sociology, ethics, international relations, political science, library science, media studies, methodology, population studies, social welfare, linguistics, literature, arts studies, women studies, anthropology, communication studies, corporate governance, criminology, crosscultural studies, demography, development studies. The journal seeks to encourage high quality research on current topics and topics that require interactions among researchers from various backgrounds.
