Self-efficacy as a mentor from the perspective of students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of World Islamic Sciences


Abstract | الملخص

Abstract The present study aimed to identify the beliefs of effectiveness of the self to the role of mentor to the students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of World Islamic Sciences, included a study of students community in registered for the first semester of the academic year 2014/2015, has been the study sample of ten classrooms choice the random sample was 145 students, self-efficacy has been applied to the role of mentor scale prepared for the purposes of the study, which was built in the image of its paragraphs sentences newsworthy linked in a way to answer the level model Likert trio, has been applied on the scale of the study sample. The results indicated that the lowest level of self-efficacy was for the students first and second year, and the rate of below 60, while the highest performance was the female of the level of the third and fourth year, and the results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of efficiency smart for all school levels differences, as well as the lack of differences in less than 60 and more than 61 average, as well as significant differences bilateral interactions in different levels as variables of the study did not show, in addition to the presence of significant differences bilateral interactions: academic average and academic level. The study recommended the need to deepen the guiding concepts which will reflect positively on the effectiveness of extension services provided later. Keywords: self-efficacy.
