This study aimed to investigate the degree of social intelligence and its relationship to job performance level of the counselors , Educational Directorate and the education of the third Amman. The study sample was (90) counselors, were chosen randomly. The researchers used the social intelligence and job performance measure to achieve the purposes of the study. The results showed the degree of social intelligence with counselors was moderate, while the degree of functionality was high degree of performance, The results showed that there is a correlation is positive and statistically significant relationship at (α≤0.05), between the degree of social intelligence and the degree of functionality with the counselors, and there's no statistically significant differences attributed to the variable qualification, and years of experience, in favor of years of experience (10+ years), and that there were no statistically significant differences attributed to the variable qualification. The study recommended to holding training courses in social intelligence, skills and good handling techniques and extension work.
