This study sought to identify The degree of Mind Habits, Emotional Intelligence and its Relationship with Social Studies subject among Secondary Students in Al Qanfada. Intentional sample consisted of (N=384) student during the second semester (2015/2016 AD). To achieve study goals the researcher adopted the mind habits Scale (Rodgers, 2000), the measure of emotional intelligence (Bar-On, 2000), and an achievement test. Results showed that the degree of the mind habits was high and the degree of emotional intelligence was intermediate and came differences in favor of the second secondary students compared to students of the first grade secondary, and the lack of correlation statistically significant between the mind habits and emotional intelligence, and that the predictive ability of mind habits and emotional intelligence in the achievement was statistically significant in favor of the first grade secondary students and male students of secondary third-grade. This study recommends to hire mind habits and emotional intelligence in teaching social studies subject.
